Having a local contact who can provide keyholding & security checks on your property can provide peace of mind when you’re away from your French property.
No wonder we say ‘relax, it’s all taken care of’. We will hold your keys and regularly check your property to take the worry out of long-distance ownership. Our small monthly charge covers keeping your keys securely (together with a second set which can be used when artisans may need to access the property) as well as a regular check of your property.
Usually more relevant in low season. Their frequency and cost would be agreed with you dependent mainly on location but also based on our standard hourly rate.
Attention to detail starts right there – we will, for instance, read your electricity and water meters during those checks, providing a useful audit trail and allowing any out-of-the-ordinary usage (there might be a leak!) to be spotted immediately.
Hopefully not necessary, but these would be charged at our basic hourly rate subject to a minimum charge of two hours on weekdays between 8 am and 6pm (weekend and unsocial hours subject to agreement). This could be to assist guests or friends you might have staying, or to liaise with police or other public bodies.
We will take care of your property, alert you to any possible problems before they become real issues, and send you photographic evidence of anything we need to discuss with you.
